The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the leadership style of the dancing teachers on the participation attitude and the goal orientation of the students majored in dancing. For accomplishing this purpose of the study, the 177 subject were selected by the systematic stratified cluster random sampling method from dance academy high school student in the whole aspect. And answered the given questionnaires by self-administration method. The tool on leadership used the questionnaires scales which modified the leadership style questionnaires developed by Chelladurai & Salde(1978). and the measuring tool in the participation attitude used the questionnaire by Kim(2006) was the questionnaire modified. The tool on the goal orientation used the questionnaires scales which used by Lee(2003). The statistical methods used for analyzing the data were the descriptive statistics analysis, one-way ANOVA and standard multiple regression analysis. From the analysis of this study, the following conclusions were obtained: Firstly, It shows the differences the participation attitude and the goal orientation according to populo-statistical characteristic in the students majored in dancing. Secondly, the leadership style of the dancing teachers affects the participation attitude of the students majored in dancing. Thirdly, the leadership style of the dancing teachers affects the goal orientation of the students majored in dancing. Fourth, the participation attitude of the students majored in dancing affects the goal orientation.
