This research aims at examining the relation between sports tourism storytelling and visitors" satisfaction and loyalty, and for this goal, the data of 428 people who visited Gwangju in relation to the 18th FINA World Championships was used in the convenience sampling method. For data processing, a frequency analysis, a factor analysis, a correlation analysis and a regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS 21.0 program. Based on the research results and discussions above, the following conclusions have been drawn. First, the subfactors of sports tourism storytelling, that is, attraction, uniqueness, and interest had meaningful impacts on the visitors" satisfaction. Sports tourism storytelling has been proved to be a crucial variable to enhance visitors" satisfaction. Accordingly, local governments need to actively hold high-quality sports events and, based on which, make efforts to offer diverse kinds of information to attract visitors. Second, the subfactors of sports tourism storytelling, which are attraction, uniqueness and interest, influenced loyalty in a meaningful way. Sports tourism storytelling has been found out to be a very important variable to improve visitors" loyalty. Therefore, local governments should recognize the importance of sports tourism storytelling and offer a variety of services to improve visitor satisfaction, which will enhance their loyalty and lead them to continue to visit. Third, visitors" satisfaction affected loyalty in a meaningful way. The study results have verified that the enhancement of visitors" satisfaction based on sports tourism will also make their loyalty increase. It"s been also concluded that the visitors of high loyalty to the sports events themselves can think of the areas where they"re held positively.
