The purpose of this study is to identify how the Career Development affects the self-efficacy of college students majoring in Culinary Art and Foodservice and the different effects between lower grade students and higher grade students in the college. As a result, the four(4) factors of Career development impacts positively on the self-efficacy of the students. The four factors for this research are self-knowledge, career plan, aquisition of career information and various experience. According to this study, the factors of Career Development impacts differently on various student grades. College freshman is positively effected in the factors of self-understanding, career plan and aquisition of career information. On the other hand, there was no effect on various experience. Meanwhile, after they are sophomore year, all four factors including various experience become positively effective. It is verified that the factor of various experience impacts only on the sophomore because of the extramural activities such as field study, internship, participation in competitive exhibition, volunteer work, etc. The study shows that career development of college student majoring in Culinary Art and Foodservice affectes differently according to student's grades, so we need to make effort to develop a program stage by stage according to the different grades of students.
