This study examined a transferring process of a weekend league in soccer in elementary and secondary schools. We collected internal documents related to the transferring process of a weekend league. After analyzing these documents, we interviewed to a person in charge of Korea Football Association. Results are as follows. First, this process of change was stage of plans, practice, settlement, and sustenance. Second, teams which joined in the weekend league of elementary and secondary schools increased from 576 in 2009 to 795 in 2021. This means the weekend league was stable and steady. Third, based on analysis of current situations, we found results in terms of plans, managements, and outcomes. In respect of plans, there were detailed plans to guarantee student-athletes` learning right. In respect of managements, there were stable administrations for security systems of the league, management system, request for cooperation, etc. In respect of outcomes, there was an achievement that league and tournament was held on the period of vacation for the student-athletes` learning right. Finally, we recommend studies other leagues such as baseball or basketball because these leagues had also a well organized weekend league. These studies are also helpful for other sporting events to carry out the change from weekday league to weekend league.
