After 3.1. Movement, ‘Maeil Sinbo’ has accepted Love Discussion of the intellectuals more faster than little magazines and popular concert like brand new ‘Dong A Ilbo’, ‘Cho Sun Ilbo’ and etc. also, these period of Hong Nan Pa’s novels in ‘Maeil Sinbo’ were shown as how a love which is an emblem of new born cultural individualistic has been accepted on colonial modern discussion after 3.1. Movement. and, the love which appears in Hong Nan Pa’s novel is not a modern individual subject but a educative love which is confined in modern logos and non-logos. these trends are continuation of Lee Gwang Su’s ‘educated love’. while, ?The last handshake? of Hong Nan Pa was a novel which showed unification possibility of educate-oriented intellectual’s novel and entertainment-oriented popular concert.
Therefore, before and after 1920s Hong Nan Pa’s novels in ‘Maeil Sinbo’ showed the process of the biggest topic ‘love’ discussion of conversation that took in ‘Maeil Sinbo’ and these also showed the continuation of 1910s.
