The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, the analysis of the structural relationship between Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) and big data confirmed that ICT has a significantly positive (+) effect on all the four sub-factors of big data: cumulativity, diversity and flexibility, real-time analyticity and convergence, and understandability. Second, the structural relationship between ICT and platform was examined, and it was found that ICT has a significantly positive (+) effect on all the 3 factors of platform. Third, according to the verification of the structural relationship between big data and business performance, the real-time analyticity, convergence, and understandability of big data were found to have a positive effect on a company’s business performance— financial and non-financial performance. Fourth, the structural relationship between platform and business performance was analyzed, and it was found that only information reliability, which is a sub-factor of platform, has a significant effect on financial and non-financial performance, which are sub-factors of business performance, and that interactivity, information provision, and convenience in use do not have a significant effect on business performance.
