The purpose of this study was to analyze the behavioral intention and residence time of cafe users by the weather using SPSS 20.0 version statistical package program for all ages in Busan. Repeated measure Anova and factor analysis were employed for anylsis. As results of hypothesis testing, first, the customer"s behavioral intention has a significant effect on three variables (preference, purchase intention, payment intention) depending on the weather. In addition, the moderate variable Need for Affect has affect on behavior intention. Second, the residence time of the customer was influenced by the weather as a moderate variable. At this time, both behavioral intention and residence time showed the highest value on rainy day, and the lowest value was cloudy day. The implications of this study are as follows. First, current study has the academic implication that the emotions of consumers can influence on consumers’ behavioral intention by using the weather which has been limited esearched in restaurant management area. Second, this study can be used as practical data for managers by suggesting direct behavioral intentions.
