As the untact culture continues to increase due to the spread of new coronavirus infections and social distancing campaigns, payment methods are rapidly changing from face-to-face to non-face-to-face. The payment and settlement system of the elderly in Korea, which has entered an aging society, remains in the form of face-to-face transactions centered on cash and credit cards. This is because there is a problem in the reliability of the system and the psychological burden of the user due to a delay in response time, as well as a lack of user convenience that comes from the lack of information processing capabilities of the elderly. Universal Design aims to overcome the physical, social and psychological obstacles of the socially disadvantaged and develop products, services and spaces that are indistinguishable from people. From this point of view, there is a need for development research that improves barriers to psychological status as well as research centering only on the areas of cognitive and working abilities of the elderly. In this paper, the payment methods used in Korea are classified into a face-to-face transaction method and a non-face-to-face transaction method, and each response time is analyzed and actual problem factors are identified, so that seniors can effectively use the non-face-to-face payment system.
