For the purpose of increasing basic data for the activation of the FK League, this study carried out a questionnaire survey with association personnel, club personnel, and other related personnel, and then established five factors for the activation of the league including effective operation of the league, active public relations and promotion activities, enhancement of the status and roles of the association, performance enhancement, and increase in the viability of the association and the clubs. Then, this study analyzed the priority and importance of the factors for the activation of the league in the method of pairwise comparison. Considering the priority and importance ofthe area of the activation of the FK League and their items, the priority of the entire items by means of complex weight, the priority and importance of each expertise group evaluation area and its items, the public relations and promotion activities wereprioritized for the activation, and extension of the opportunity for live broadcasting was prioritized among its other items. The priority rating of the entire items by means of complex weight can be listed in the order of extension of the opportunity for live broadcasting, title sponsor hunting, cultivation of referees’ quality, guaranteeing club sponsors, and extension of attractions for audiences. In addition to the priority with complex weight out of the contents of the priority and importance of each expertise group evaluation area and its items, increase in the viability of the association and the clubs, extension of participating clubs, and operation of play-offs turned out in that order. At the moment when we have spent 14 years since futsal was known to Korea and it is the fourth year since the foundation of the FK league, which should be an exemplary model for futsal lovers internally and the cradle of team Korea, the most urgent issue for the development of Korean futsal is the activation of the FK league. This study is begun for examining the birth and flow of futsal, history of Western futsal, introduction and development of futsal in Korea, and the current state of Korean futsal and groping for future development. From this study with suggestions from futsal personnel and players’families about what we should do for the activation of the FK league, we have reached the conclusion that comparative analysis of the FK league with other advanced leagues, development of the league in connection with sport for all, efforts to draw audiences into the FK league, and research and efforts to increase the audiences’satisfaction are needed.
