In the 21th century, society is defined "Knowledge-Information society" that is characterized the rapid increase of invisible knowledge and knowledge-sharing. Individual members must have the competence to cope with lasting change because the organization is placed in complicated and dynamic business environment in this modern society. Among such abilities, especially individual leadership is getting more important. This individual leadership is called "self-leadership". Self-Leadership, by definition ,is self-regulating competences to encourage members to produce more excellent results.
The influence of self-leadership on organizational commitment and innovative behaviors is analyzed in this study. According to the results of this study, the behavior-oriented strategies of self-leadership have significant influence on organizational commitment and innovative behavior. And also it is analyzed that the natural rewards have a significant effect on organization commitment and the constructive-thinking strategies on innovative behavior. It is revealed through this study that the self-leadership leads members to contribute and commit in organization and to create innovative behaviors which achieve one"s vision with the creation of new value and the cognizance of changing the surroundings.
Therefore, if organization members develop the self-leadership which accomplishes what want to and deals successfully with difficult tasks, the organizational commitment and the innovative behaviors of organization members will be enhanced. Accordingly, organization must carry out regularly education & training and enlarge the Scope of power & responsibility of members in order to improve self-leadership.
