The main purpose of this study was to describe unique characteristics of Ezha, one of various Ethiopian languages. For the purpose, this study collected data from casual talks in Ezha with native speakers: Some talks were elicited. The casual (elicited) talks were recorded and transcribed for data analysis, which described characteristics of EZha. Based on data analysis, some interesting findings were achieved as follows. First, verbs agree with subject and object noun phrases. The agreement elements on verbs could be either prefixes or suffixes; subject agreement markers in perfective verbs are only suffixes, while imperfective and jussive forms can have prefixes or both prefixes and suffixes as subject agreement elements. Second, imperative conjugations attach only suffixes in the affirmative with the exception of the 2MS that does not require any affix at all. Third, object agreement is signaled by optional suffixes; they surface only when there is a definite object complement within the verb phrase. Finally, in situations where there are both subject and object suffixes, subject agreement markers precede the object suffixes in their attachment to the verb.
