Learning Spanish verb conjugations needs a lot of time. Subsequently, not all learning can take place in class. Therefore, learning Spanish verb conjugations often occurs outside of class. Currently, with the development of Information Communication Technology, and the general use of mobile devices, mobile applications (apps) can be powerful tools to aid learning Spanish verb conjugations. To ensure effective didactic outcomes using mobile apps, local educational experts should be directly involved with app development. Therefore, we have designed and developed an app for learning Spanish verb conjugations. The app has been evaluated by a group of 15 Spanish lecturers in a university. The result of the assessment has been positive in terms of teaching and learning Spanish, and also positive in terms of the novelty of function compared with other existing apps. With the development of this app, we have seen that the authoring tool, that allows usually non-programmer user to create their own courseware, web page, or multimedia applications and the associated navigating tools, can be a powerful means for e-learning. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to exploring authoring tools and disseminating them among teachers. Moreover, our app can also be used for other languages for learning verb conjugations. Also, it is expected that our app’s functions and composition can be useful for general language education and extensive e-learning.
