The purpose of this study is to investigate whether management innovation and the characteristics of CEO(risk preference trends) satisfy requirements with contextual factors. In addition, it is to find out what suitable relationships should be established between these variables (CEO's risk preference trends, management innovation adoption, organizational structure changes, and accounting information characteristics) to improve organizational performance. The path analysis of structural equation was used to determine the relationship between two variables. In addition, we examined whether organizational structure plays a significant role as a Mediating Variable between causal factors and organizational performance variables. We can confirm that if the organizational characteristic variable acts as a significant parameter, the causal variable becomes the contingency factor, and it brings about improvement of organization performance through the fit relationship with organizational characteristics. The other purpose of this study is to provide the Korean manufacturing executives with important implications for introducing management innovation, organizational structure change and direction of change of accounting information system to improve organizational performance.
