The purpose of this study is investigate the effects of mountaineering exercise on CRP, estrogen and bone mineral density in middle aged women. The subjects of this study were divided into group mountaineering exercise(n=15) and control group (n=15) participating in middle aged women in their 50s. Participation in the mountain climbing exercise was performed once a week and the target heart rate was 60-70%. In this study, SPSS ver. 21.0 statistical package was used. The paired t-test was conducted to verify the differences in the same group according to the mountaineering exercise, and the independent t-test was conducted to analyze the difference between the groups. The results of this study were as follows; First, there was a statistically significant difference(p<.05) in the change of CRP between group control group and mountain climbing group after climbing exercise. There was a statistically significant difference in CRP in the mountain climbing group(p<.01). Second, there was a statistically significant difference(p<.05) in the change of estrogen between group control group and mountain climbing group after climbing exercise. There was a statistically significant difference in estrogen in the mountain climbing group(p<.05). Third, there was a statistically significant difference(p<.05) in the change of bone density between group control group and mountain climbing group after climbing exercise. There was a statistically significant difference in bone density in the mountain climbing group(p<.05).
