The coronavirus has serious consequences in worldwide, and one of the most severely affected industries is the deluxe hotel industry. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the effects of deluxe hotel employees’ role stress on employees’ psychological distress, burnout and deviant behavior. Based on total 295 deluxe hotel employees obtained from the empirical research. The hypotheses were identified through structural equation modeling. The results of structural equation modeling show that employees’ perceptions of role stress had a positive effect on psychological distress and burnout. In addition, employees’ psychological distress and burnout had a positive effect on deviant behavior. Hence, this study suggested devise plans to reduce the stress and negative psychological reactions experienced by employees in the process of performing their duties as much as possible. Limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
