As the Chinese Ministry of Education has launched a new round of examination and evaluation of undergraduate education in higher education, more and more attention has been paid to the learning experience of college students. In addition, the Chinese Ministry of Education and people from all walks of life are paying more attention to Aesthetic Education. As an important position for the output of aesthetic dance education talents, professional dance education in colleges and universities attracts more attention to its teaching quality. Based on the perspective of students, this survey investigated the teaching satisfaction of dance majors in Chinese universities. This paper looked into the teaching satisfaction of dance major students to their colleges and universities and put forward the research hypothesis that curriculum setting, teaching process, teaching effect had positive effects on teaching satisfaction, which was verified by using exploratory factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that curriculum setting, teaching process, and teaching effect all had a positive impact on teaching satisfaction indeed. At the end of the paper, from three aspects (Curriculum Setting, Teaching Process, and Teaching Effect), suggestions were given to improve the teaching satisfaction of dance majors in Chinese colleges and universities, and to improve the quality of dance professional talent training: Firstly, based on the university’s cultural genes and local cultural characteristics, condensing professional characteristics, and formulating a distinctive curriculum system to innovate the dance professional curriculum; Secondly, the whole teaching process must be targeted at the actual needs of students’ learning and development, improving the teaching process, optimizing students’ learning to experience, enhancing teaching satisfaction and improving the quality of talent cultivation; Thirdly, dance teachers should strengthen the study of knowledge in education and teaching, and apply theories and methods of higher education to solve practical problems of students’ learning.
