This study was conducted to present a positioning strategy through empirical cases using positioning to differentiate the quality of service assessed and recognized by the consumers of the fitness center. The sampling was conducted through the Convenient Quota sampling method for three months from early December 2018 to the end of February 2019, targeting male and female members in their 20s or more who use four sports centers in Seoul''s S-gu district. The effective number of samples used in the actual analysis was 444, and the answer material measured the Cronbach''s α value using the Window SPSS 22.0 version to verify the reliability of the statement and validated the question with an Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA). In addition, frequency analysis and one-way ANOVA were performed for the analysis of the mean difference in the four fitness centers, and all of the above statistical significance levels were .05. This study proposed a strategy for differentiating quality of service by empirically verifying the differences in quality of service in four fitness centers that can be considered competitive by forming a similar market adjacent to the region, and establishing strategies by positioning of quality of service visually and stereotacticly based on the results presented. Through these research achievements, the fitness center operator was presented with strategic implications to identify the factors that determine the purchase of service products by the consumers of the fitness center through simple yet comprehensively feasible positioning of various service quality elements.
